You find yourself shipwrecked on a mysterious island, with only one way off, surviving one week of horror as waves of enemies attack each day! Get upgrades, build your boat, and escape before it's too late!

NOTE: There are some audio issues when using the online version, some music will not play upon using the Escape Key to restart due to how MiniScript handles looping audio. To restart with audio, use the browser restart (f5) or the desktop version of the game.

Hey bluely and EepyKitty, I'd love to add add this game to https://miniscript.org/MiniMicro/#programs .  Is that OK with you?

(1 edit) (+1)

Did a full gameplay video for anyone wanting to see all waves (including the final boss + endless mode)! 1 to approx. 3 mins is the base game, after that, it's the endless mode playthrough!

Fun game!  Really nice job with the sprites and sound.  Super cute.

I don't understand how to survive the crabs, though.  It takes me a  couple of hits to kill them, and they always hit me back... so after a handful of crabs, it's game-over!

Heya! Yeah the crabs can be pretty annoying, it's a bit hard but you can hit them and escape before taking any damage! Also, it's possible to get enough damage to one-shot them using the strength upgrades, I put a video together to show getting through the crab and then the first pirate levels if that helps!

Really cool Micro Game! If i may ask, how did you remove the virtual computer screen?

There is a file called BootOpts.grfon which has startup options. One of those options decides whether the bezels should be there!

sick, thank you

Looks really cool!  I'd like to help pin down the audio issue you're having, though.  I'm not aware of any differences between desktop and web audio (except that it takes a lot longer to load on web, of course).  Can you tell me more about this problem?

(Or feel free to reach out on Discord if you'd like to discuss it there!)

Sometimes music just doesn't play again after being stopped on the web version. As a hack the web version currently just sets all music to volume 0 when it needs to be stopped in game. However, all music stops at the end of the game (because we reboot the machine to restart) so when it restarts (if escape is pressed) the same issue happens and this is the part we couldn't even try to find a hack for. If you'd like to discuss more on Discord my username is the same there!
